Default no head...

hey crew, i have adopted a 87' 250x rolling chassis with a 350x motor in it. i need to find alot of the pieces, fenders, tank, seat, head, carb, pipe, bars, and misc. extras. i want to restore it with my son he's 8. is this quada good platform to invest the money in or should i buy a more complete unit. i have $50.00 in it so far. the motor work alone is going to be spendy. can i buy a complete motor for less than rebuilding this one? say a 400ex or what else would fit in this chassis. any info is greatly appreciated. thanks. later

look at the classified adds at the bottom of the page i think i saw a 400ex engine and a 350x crate engine, for sale there. but back to your question you might want to find a 250x that is all there before you spend to much on the restore.

I heard that put a 350x engine in a 250x barely fits so i would not suspect a 400ex engine to fit in it. Anyways, It may cost a good amount but it will be a great experience for you 8 year old son to go through and for you too i suspect

check ebay, you can find anything on there if you look long enough and you could most likely get those parts dirt cheap
