I think you missed my point. Most people want a electric starter on a four stroke because they are difficult to start, and more difficult to re start after a spill. With all of this technology at work, they can build a 4-stroke engine that is 2 times the displacement of a 2-stroke and weighs much more so the machine it goes in can keep up? To me that doesn't seem like an advance.

I hope they make something soon.I've also heard about the 650EX.But untill they do I'll be waiting to buy a new quad, either the Cannondale,Kawasaki or maybe the Raptor,Or if it comes out the 650EX...I hope.

At least you have your mind made up! Seriously, this is great. It is nice to want a performance quad and not know which one to get. It used to be "maybe I can find a clean 250r. If not then I'll get a Banshee/400EX." Now it is like I can't wait to see the 2001 models and I'll buy the one I want!

last summer I stumbled apon the ultimate qaud a bone stock showroom condition 86 trx250r the only prob with nit was about a 2 inch piece broke off the edge off the rear fender U can't even tell if U don't look. it was all stock except for some boyeson reeds. I quickly snatched it up for a awesome price off 2500 and took her home and rode the p*%s out of her.she is still running today after a rebuild due to a cracked piston and she has only lost to one 400ex in a drag and beat a 440ex in a MX track. she is my ultimate qaud.

If they are not building a 2 cycle it will not be a racer.Four cycles do not make good race motors.
