John Gregory takes the overall, Quad win on a new, Honda TRX450R.

Not much info yet, but it looks like Honda showed again how to win the baja 1000. A DS650 came in 2nd. He came in 12th overall.

This is the DS650 that came in 2nd in atv, and 14th overall.

The TBR team is 16A going to have to wait for the AM update. The Honda did it again congratulations

 

to bad they don't come out with a new machine every year, they would win everytime

 

Awesome. When was the Baja held?

 

The Baja 1000 was Nov 21-22.

The DS that came in 2nd was not TBRs. The DS that came in 2nd is Gilberto Santana. He had won the last 2 baja 1000s quad class.

 

Does anyone know the max speed the 450R got up to? Was it modified at all?

 

From what it look like IMS gas tank, stock shocks, desert seat. I would guse top speed at around 90 with gearing change. I am sure Honda twik the engine a little. Pic of 450R

 

The 450r's victory doesn't make me as happy as knowing that it can complete a race. I figure that the outcome of this baja has partly answered some questions regarding the 450r's reliability. I cannot wait to own one!!!
