Hey don't feel bad I bought a X-33 and bent it badly on the very first ride. It was the first aftermarket axle I ever bought. I hope durablue makes better axles than that because I have seen many people bend and break durablues. I would never buy one again. I have an RPM dominator now and it's held up so far.

How much more power do you think your 400ex is making than a stock one? Because eventually I would like to build the motor in mine and I was going to just send it to TC this winter and have him build it but I would like some info on other options. Also what did you jet yours to because I would like to remove my airbox lid and I need somewhere to start in terms of jetting. All it has now is a Pro Circuit silencer k&n or uni filter and I have raised the needle one notch and moved up to a 152 main jet. Thanks.

Yeah,
I hadn't heard the bad luck stories about DuraBlue until AFTER I bought one. When I broke mine, a couple of guys came up to me and told me they had bent or broken Dura Blue's before. I think you are about the fith person. Anyhoo, I talked to Dura Blue and they are going to replace my X-33 with an Eliminator solid axle. According to them, the hollow axle is very rigid, and the 400EX is a "rigid" machine (?) causing the axle to snap. My X-33 lasted about 20 minutes of dinking around, (no jumps) and 25 minutes of MX racing.
I really like the extra width! I hope the Eliminator is tougher. I was reading my warranty card and found out the lifetime warranty is pro-rated. So, if I break it in a year, I will have to pay for that replacement. I will probably put my stocker back on cuz I have ****-pounded that thing and it doesn't have the slightest wobble. Honestly tho, I would rather have it bend, than snap and go flying in front of somebody.
