Has anyone received their 2001 Rancher yet???????? I have on on order, and the local shop says there not getting the 01's till july or maybe even august(im from northern ontario, maybe we canadians get stuff later than our US counterparts)Plus, why is it called a Rancher 350 in the US, and a Fourtrax 350 here in Canada???

I ordered my 2000 350 4x4 on March 20, 2000, STILL WAITING. I did call two dealers in the area today and they told me the bikes are in the warehouse in Montreal and will be shipping on Monday. They also told me the 2001 will be $500.00 more but they would only increase my price be $300.00. We will see when they confirm the new price on Monday. I think that Honda should honor the old price for any orders place since they could not supply the dealers with product. I have been calling three dealers in the area for the last three months and they tell me they have not received any 350 4x4 in months. Is there any dealers out there that were able to get their hands on a 350 4x4 (orange) in the last couple of months?

I was at Floyds Cycle in Danville, Ky. a week ago. They already had 2001 Ranchers out on the showroom floor. I bought my 2000 Rancher (manuel shift) at the end of March and paid $5100 at Honda Transport in Lexington, Ky. I was pretty upset when i found that Floyd's were selling the 2000 model (manuel shift) for $4599. I guess it pays to shop around and wait till mid June to buy.

good luck!!!!!

A friend has also been waiting for an orange 4X4 ES for almost two months. Everyone we talk to says that they have seen one at a dealer. When he calls, they are 2 wheel drives, manual shifts or the wrong color. The dealer that he is buying it from made the same mistake. They said that they had one in a crate, then found out it was a manual shift. They have now promised him a 2001. Big deal, they didn't change them and by the time he gets it it may be 2001 anyway. I'm glad that I bought mine in February. For once, I did the right thing!
