K&N for rincon??

Default K&N for rincon??

I just got a K&N for my rincon and it did not come with oil.Does it need it??

Thanks It was a new filter but i couldn't tell if it had oil on it but then again I didn't look to hard I just wanted it on there. I also purchased the outerwears and it helped the power a noticible amount.I am suprised a filter could do that much!!

Default K&N for rincon??

If you put the K&N in and didn't get your hands oily chances are it wasn't oiled. It is almost impossible to oil one correctly and install it without having your hands coated with oil. If you have any doubts pull it and oil it. They are not very effective without oil and could cost you some serious engine wear.

If the filter media had a redish color to it, it was already oiled. If it was a tan color, it was not.

Make any correction and go play.

you can buy spray on oil, like someone said if you didnt get oil on your hands its no oiled
