Hi i was wondering what you guys think of the honda fourtrax recon because my friend is getting one and was wondering how good of an atv overall it was.

 

Great machine, within its performance limitations!! Fun to ride, durable, doesn't need much maintenance, etc. But, tell him to get the 250EX, unless he needs the racks. The 250 is basically a Recon that is 50 lbs. lighter, and has disc brakes up front.

 

My friend has one, it is fun to ride and has been reliable. No problems so far.

my friend has one and its a great machine, he is a smaller person i tried to ride it and at 6'1 i wasnt totally comftorable but my friend can catwalk a mile and jump very easy its great for trails except for the shocks which are pretty small

 

they have good balance points and feel light, great quad

 

my friend had one. it was great. no problems.

but it got stolen off the farm

 

Very good power for such a simple 250 engine. Very reliable, excellent handling, they are very fun for a utility model.

 

2 of my friends have em and if 2 words can say what they have been through it's immortal h*ll. still run like new and start on the first touch of the button. great lil 2wd machines. they are the foot shift models by the way
