Default SERVICE MANUAL

does anyone know of a site with the sevice manual for a honda foreman 400 4x4 (trx400fw). not one that i can buy but one that is just there for anyone to look at and find measurments in.

Depending on what year it is...you could try the local library, they have the climer and haynes manuals .

i got a repair manual for my rubicon and i has excellent info in it. REPAIR MANUALS.COM good luck

ebay almost always has manuals. It's where I get all of mine for cheap

im looking for the measurements of how much the tie rod should be out. Its a 98 foreman

Under the specifications it has the tie-rod ball-joint spacing at 349.5 mm or 13.76 inches. (400 model)

Measure the distance from each locknut to the end of the threads and compare it with the above. If it it's incorrect, loosen the locknut and reposition the locknut and ball-joint on the threads. Position the ball-joint at each end of the tie-rod so the studs face 180-degrees away from each other.

Torque specs- Tie-rod stud nuts and tie-rod locknuts- 40 ft-lbs.
