if you were brought up on honda trx300's......like me and a lot of people you naturally go back to neutral......its like riding a bike??!!(becomes natural)

.....i have a friend who hates the fact that you can't start in gear on a honda......her old man has owned yamahas as long as i know...the honda gearbox means......no excess slip from low iq people on start off!....

i feel its a tender topic.....my old man loves it.....real handy when he broke his leg....now he can't be with out it.....yet he can't carry stuff with it.....hold his dog on fast corners if changing gears!....can't carry tools or unwind temporary fences with out either being in to high or to low gear....on the friends farm with the yamahas we used cabs for use in the winter.....es would be handy therefore the operator doesn't have to climb on the bike properly, you can side saddle if you are getting in or out of the cab quite often...
maybe that is why honda offers both systems?....there must be a huge amount of people out there used to lever shifting because they sold a heap of 300's

any one use these bikes in non recreational applications??.....what do they think
