has anybody here ever tryed to drain there oil in there 400ex and part of the alluminum oil take break off? this happened to my buddy. luckly he was able to have sumone weld it back on. but if i get one i hope this doesn't happen to me. is this a commom problem.

 

yes and this is why you have to change the alum. crush washer on the plug every time you change oil. do not over tighten the plug.

 

Or bite the bullet and buy an expensive aftermarket larger tank.
