There is no tranny adjustment, but there is a clutch adjustment and I assume that's what you want to know. It's the same as all other Honda's, break loose the locknut, turn the flat blade adjuster out (counterclockwise) until you feel resistance, then put one quarter turn play (clockwise) in the linkeage. Tighten up your locknut again while holding the adjuster from moving.
Sorry,
When you say "the locknut"... Which one?Where?
I have been out of ATVing since 1983
I have okay common sense and some tools so any more help would be awsome.I think I read somewhere it is in the front.I posted a thread about it slipping a month ago.I just never got real specific with the actual procedure.
Thanks,

It's in the front of the engine. A 14mm nut will fit on it, and you will see a flat blade screw inside. And yes it's that simple. The only way the adjustment will make your clutch slip is if there isn't enough play in the linkeage (remember, the quarter turn clockwise).
I LOVE THE POWER OF THE INTERNET!!!
Thanks dzzy,
Worked like a charm!
I would also like to thank ATV Connection!
