Who cares which is "better"? It comes down to preference. You can win on either bike just as easily as the other. Depends which bike YOU want for YOUR needs. Why can't people just leave it at that?

IMO I think had did the right thing with the electric start thing. Some people want electric start, other hate it and want to kick it over. So what did they do? They went between the opinions, made it a kick start, but way easier to kick over. it just makes sense to me....

my personal preference is kick start, electric starts arent flawless and can fail in cold weather. a friend of mine left his 400ex sit in an unheated garage for 4 days during the winter and the e button failed. we had to jump it with his truck.

but thats just me

it would be cool to have both tho. my neighbor has a polaris trailboss 2x4 I think it is, anyways, if his e button doesnt work, it has a pull start for backup. kudo's to polaris for that

I have had it with dirt wheels, in the first test with the 450r in the febuary issue they say that the quad had excellent handling, maybe the best ever and it was a great jumper with great looks. Just got the new march issue and now they are saying that it doesnt handle very well and isnt a great jumper. It was the shortest shootout with the best quads in the history of the atv industry. They have longer shootouts with the mini quads, i mean come on what about more details of the handling and jumping of the R and the yfz. It also tied the yfz in drag races time and time again but it is down on power, i honestly think they have been smoking their breakfast. That just my opinion. Any thoughts?

i'll be waiting for that day to come, you think they will do what they did with the z400 and make an exact replica of the 400ex with just a little bit better motor and add reverse or will they come out with something that they will design on their own not using hondas design.

They already stated in the feb. issue that it was worth the wait and all of the hype.
