stock airfilter. No lid. Using the gyt-r jet kit. I put in the biggest jet in the kit. I cant remember what size it was.
i just went and looked and i have a 155, 160, and 162 left so it must have been a 165 or 170.

What needle are you using? what clip position? and what pilot jet?
Just trying to determine where yours is running in terms of the YFZ spectrum.

MNRAP: I am using the gyt-r needle. I cant remember what clip and im using the stock pilot. Would you suggest changing my pilot?

Steven - I enjoyed your review, I didn't think you sounded biased.
Personally I don't find the front end of the TRX to be that light - but as mentioned before, it may be difference in riding style. Another thing that fixes wheelie happy machines is a little bit of suspension sag.
Where's the videos

I agree with you on some things.I own a 450r and the front end doesn't fell to light to me.I also had a chance to race some yzf's 450. I could pull the holeshot everytime.in the mid range the yama would gain alittle bit,but on the top end i could pull away by 2 to 3 bike lenghts.all the bikes were stock with paddles. the honda seat does feel alot softer than the yama.It is pretty close to a z 400 with i also own. the honda is a great handling bike . thanks for your report it sound good for both bikes.
