Default Good Deal on a EX?

I've been looking for a second bike and i saw this one, heres wat it says about it,
Year: 2001
Make: HONDA
Model: 400EX
Model Detail:
Price: $4,800
Ad Type: Private
Comment: Yellow, hole shot rear tires, Renthal bars, hand guards, low hours, must sell.

Is that $4800.00 US or CAN ? if it's US then skip it. I can get a new one for that. If it's CAN. then that's not really that bad of a deal [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

YOu can buy brand new 2003 holdovers around here for $3999 american dollars. dont know how that converts to canadian.

Well $4800.00 CN would come to $3606.10 US so I would say that would be a little high for us. If there is as many around you as there is around me than I wouldn't buy it. I think I could find a better deal.

thats steep i just picked up a 2002 400ex with lots of extras for $3200

well if i wanted to buy it i'd talk the guy down, not gunna pay exactly wat hes askin for, there is quite a few ex's around here, just not many for sale
btw wat should i offer if i go?

I would say about $2500 ~ $2750 US or $3325.~ $3650 CN. I may be a little low but it's really hard to tell what a quad is worth on the internet. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

I think the price varies a little in canada compared to the us. I am looking at a new baja x and it's 2000 CAN more over here then if i buy it in the states and bring it across the border with exchange and all that stuff. My ex is worth around 6800-7000 here and i have seen stock 02's go for 6400

your right. I have no ideal what a quad is worth up there. all I can do is tell you what they are worth here and let you compare the prices.
