Default OT: caster/camber plates?

I want to lower my '02 GT 1.5'' in front and 1'' in the rear, do I really need the caster/camber plates? what will happen if I lower it and dont install the plates?

Without the plates you throw geometry out of whack. Offset bushings for the steering rack are a good idea too, keeping your tie rods speaking the same language as the wheels. All that stuff is linked together, and when you change the ride height, you have changed everything else.

Shady is right. To do it right, you need the new plates. I think Summit/jegs has them for around $200. You'll of course have to have it re-alligned but you NEED to have it alligned anytime you raise or lower a vehicle.
