trx 125 smoking alot

Default trx 125 smoking alot

does anyone know what it could be this bike smokes non stop its a thick withe smoke and my mufler has like an oil film on it..thanks alpine..it is a trx 125

top end needs rebuilt. its smokin cuz its burning oil

Mine is doing the same thing exactly!! Did you ever find the problem? I just did a compression test 3 times and it was 120 psi. Let me know rpm90001@hotmail.com

Yes, the rings are probably bad, a stuck oil ring or a broken scraper ring. Other things that may cause it is a head gasket leaking from a oil gallery to the combustion chamber, or a loose/jumped timing chain causing unstable vacume during valve overlap sucking oil past the rings, or the piston skirts worn.
