Carb defroster on Canadian TRX450R?

Default Carb defroster on Canadian TRX450R?
I hear from the Honda dealer that there's a carb defroster on the TRX450R on the Canadian models. Is this true? I'm not sure if this is weird or cool. Ice racers jejoice!!

I don't think its a Canadian only thing. I believe my ( american) trx450 has a carb heater on it also.

How would that work with no battery, plug it into an outlet??
