What kind of rear tires do you have on your recon??

i ordered some Kenda bearclaws but they were having trouble getting them in that size so i switched my order to super swamper tsl's this morning

 

Go with the Sur Traks, they are light weight & have great traction in the mud. Its only a 2 ply tire, this could be a negative, especially if you are prone to flat tires.

 

Hey Snowshark how does your recon perform with the Maxxis Sur Tracks.

 

I had Sur-Traks on my blaster.

I could just plow through mud! They wore great, and they were just a tough looking tire.

I don't know if this will help with your recon tire choice or not.

Many of the members in our club have them. I haven't ordered them yet, once the tires come in for my kids quad then & get them.

 

sur traks were a sweet tire......saw some bearclaws the other day in the shop.....very impressed with those.....these guys in the forum reconed they went allright too

I think they're great.

 

Anyone have suggestions for more of a dirt/gravel/sand tire? The factory tires just don't cut it in the soft gravel and sand. I would like something close to the factory diameter. My recon doesn't come close to any mud, so that doesn't matter. I really like the factory tire on my 400ex, it does suprisingly well in the local sandpits. Thanks for the help.
