what does it take to install a 440 kit the rod? valves? ect...

 

if you are changing the rod, i would send it to an engine builder. you will need to bore your sleeve and put the new sleeve in. this can't be done by the average joe without the proper tools/equipment. installing just a pison and cam should not be that hard once you have the rod and sleeve installed and bored.
