hrm .. something good for mud .. and with a flat profile .. maybe Kenda dominators .. ??

I have my razrs, which have a fairly flat profile .. I haven't tried them in mud, but I wouldn't expect them to be all that great because of the tread pattern. You might want to check in the preferred vendors section and the top of the forums index .. ITP makes a lot of great tires.

I just noticed too your name... same as mine .. how cool .. AND from atlantic Canada .. did you get dug out from all the snow you got last week?? You guys got hammered pretty bad.

We were supposed to get 15-40cm in our area and ended up with a heap of rain .. never had to shovel one bit of snow .. 'course the snowmobiliers are kinda ticked!!

I don't think you'll find anyone to say anything bad about a 300EX. The only complaint I've ever heard about them is that the reverse is kinda awkward to use, since the lever is on the same side as the clutch.

Yeah were all dug out we ended up getting 39 inches of snow. and I have werd about that reverse problem before but I have seen a kit on the net for that and I may try to make one myself. But I have to find a good deal on a bike first!

I've only seen the linkage once, but I believe if you were 1/2 ways handy you could modify the lever to operate with a flick of your heel like on the old 250X quad.

i have a 300ex and the reverse lever is not as bad as everyone says it is yes it might not be as easy as some quads but atleast the 300ex has one and instead of spending money on changing the the reverse lever why dont you spend that money on some accesories r something? anyway just my 2 cents

I wouldn't spend money on it I would make my own reverse kit for it just a copy of the one I seen on the net!

I have one with kenda dominators, and they arnt that good in the mud. I would go for something like the titan trekkars. 20 inch and as wide as they you can get them. Also, to make reverse easier, adjust the cable down by the shifter so you do not have to pull in the red R on the clutch. Brake pads are 30 dollars for a set of 2. The quad will need 3 sets total. Hope that helps.
