Does anyone know if the ESR 2 piece head w/ domes fit a stock cylinder?
I sent an email asking them and they never replied back. Anyways,
I'm in the market for an aftermarket head that I can change domes on.
Also, I'm assuming when they say 19cc dome that means 19cc volume left when the piston is TDC?
Like

246cc + 19cc = 265
265 / 19 = 13
= 13:1 compression

is this right? I may also be looking for a bit more compression than that
Can anyone suggest a head that I can change domes on that won't rape my wallet

I run an ESR head on my stock cylinder R.

 

You can get the coolheads to fit stock cylinders, I have the ESR with a 19cc dome that yields 215psi. Pro Design also makes them.

 

Thanks guys, is there any domes available that are 17cc in size? I'd use that one for racing if they are available or even smaller

 

I know there are 18 cc domes but don't know of any smaller, you'd have to go custom. I think somebody makes blanks that require the finish machineing, try Pro Design-they may have them.

 

ESR will give you blank domes. I have mine custom cut.

 

I have a 87TRX310R with a PRO DESIGN COOL HEAD, currently running the 20cc dome and it's awesome! I believe they make 18-21or22cc domes. Compared to stock setup...you WILL feel the difference!
