just wanted to ask,wich one would preform better on the track and trail,the 440ex or the 500ex.wich one would be faster?wich one would have more power.

Seriously, what do you think? 500ex. You should also look at a 465 Sparks. They are very very fast.

 

how you going to cool a 500? seems like a lot of money that might not match the new machines.

 

For anyone having problems cooling a 400ex, it is only a matter of paying $125 for a Four Stroke Tech oil cooler. And of course installing it. It will run nearly as cool as a water cooled bike. That thing works great!

As far as I know, Four Stroke Tech is the only shop that makes the kits and you can often find them on ebay for around $125.
