How oftin do you need to replace the clutch and chain on a 300 ex. I am just trying to get an idea of what will be needing to get replaced if I buy one that is 3 or 4 years old!

 

well i dont know about the clutch but my dealer said that if i maintain (sp?) my chain that it should last me 3-5 tears are i could just never do anything to it and replace it about once a year for $100.

 

Have you ever replaced your clutch? and You guys do alot od riding in the dunes don't you! So I would expect that I would get a longer life out of my chain than you because we don't have as much sand here in Nova Scotia. Correct me if I'm wrong!

yea its a great quad alot of power for only a 282cc engine i have had no compaints about mine u should be very happy with it.

P.S. CHeck ebay for a 300ex thats where i got mine and normaly u can save alot of money by getting it there.

 

I checked Ebay but there was nothing there and it would cost a fortune for me to get one shipped up to canada. I would get screwed with dewty, changing the money ,shipping. I think I will end up getting one from a dealer in my area there should be lots comming in on trade now that the new 450 R is out!

 

yea it probaly would cost u a fortune to get it shiped to Canada!!! u might try checking your local paper for one.
