Can someone tell me what the proper tow out is on the rancher 4x4.Allso what is the best way to get the front end lined up with the handle bars.
I noticed i have to steer slitly to the left to keep it straight.I measered the tow out from the center of the front of each tire. it is 33.75in up front and 32.75 in the center of the back of each tire.Ive checked the tie rods and they look fine.

thanks for the help.

Go to my website (link below) and on the "General Information" page you will find a procedure aligning the front end with the handle bars at the same time. I set my toe-out at 1/8" which I find better and more responsive. Foreman and Rancher specs are similiar here.

I will get the exact specs from my manual when I get home from work.

Rancher2000 use the string method to set your toe- out. It works. I have adjusted my tires twice using this method!

I believe the manual says 9/16 plus or minus 3/4 of an inch on 4x4 models.

What a difference! Thanks for the info.I tryed the string. It helped with lining up the handle bar,but the rear tires stick out futher than the front. So i keep turning the tie rods the same on each side until i had 1/4 more on the center front of the tires than the back. This sould have gave me 1/8 toe out i beleve.
I was at 1/2in tow out.It handles a lot better and turns 100% easer.
Thanks again. It's atvers like you that makes this forum great.
