Default Rancher AT with water in air box

This is my first post forgive me for being kind of lengthy. I bought a rancher AT 2 weeks ago and after a ride with my brother-in-law we brought them to the car wash to wash them down. After washing the bikes i noticed that my little drain plug at the bottom of the air box was full of soapy water. My brother in law has a rancher 350 and he had none. I called the dealer and they said to bring it in so they could take a look at it. That was this past friday. So today I was fooling around with the bike looking to see where the water could be getting in. I let the water hose run over the lid on the air box for a while and did not get a drop of water inside. I sprayed the hose at the bottom of the air box and BINGO the little plug filled with water. On the rancher AT there is a vacuum type canister under the right rear fender that goes into the air box. Where the plastic tube/pipe goes into the air bow it is very loose (I can easily move it back and forth with my hand) and when i looked inside the air box while my wife moved the tube I could see the water trickle in the air box. After this lengthy intro, I'll get to the point. Should i take it to the dealer and have them take care of the problem or should I just seal that connection with some silicone. I appreciate all that reply.

Take it to the dealer and have them fix it. If something negative occurs because of the leak then you may be at fault. (if you mess with it) Even though you did not cause the original problem. As long as you have a warranty you should use it. You'll probably get a chance to fix something out of warranty later. Use it while you can.
