i'm thinking about selling my honda 87 trx250x. i have put a lot of money into this quad, including brand new bearings and seals, along with a new sprocket hub and chain... the quad has only had these on it for about 1 day now, and has only been ridden down the road to seat the bearings. it runs like new, and starts first or second kick. i'll list some of the aftermarket parts i have on it:
1. - durablue +4 axle
2. - realtor rear tires
3. - supertrap exhaust
4. - nerf bars
5. - k&n jet kit with uni- air filter
6. - shockwears
7. - maier race cut fenders
8. - full chassis skid plate
9. - renthal handle bars
..and more

the only downside is that a few years ago it threw a chain, and unfortunately it went through the under side of the engine, and puntured a small hole in the engine, so it slowly leaks oil, about a full tank every 3-4 weeks. i'm also wondering if there is any way i can fix this so it will be a little easier to sell.
i've put thousands of dollars into this great machine, and i'd love to be able to get around $2,500 or $3,000 for this great quad. it is in great condition, and its ready to roll...all i'm asking you is to tell me how much you think i could get for it, and how, if possible, to fix the oil leak. thanks for all of your input..and if any of u are interested i will consider selling it to you, but for no less than $2,500. thanks again!
