Default quick question on changing a CV boot

if u dont want the band u have on there now take a needle nose and tear the bitch off thats what i do.

now to put it back on take a flat head screw driver push down on the band where it needs to get bent over and push hard so it doesnt moove( after u have it tight enough) now bend the band back over top and keep tension on it then bend over the little metal flaps and thats all u need. it doesnt pay to spend 20 bucks on a tool u wont use much

flat head screw driver and a needle nose pliers. put it on the sleeve and put the band around it then pull it really tight and push the band down the the screw driver and fold it over. then pinch the 2 little metal strips over the band and make sure there tight. its not as hard to do as im makin it sound lol. it should be ok

it goes like this lemme try
_______
__________ll<<<
l l
l l
l__________l

right at this point there should be a metal plate with two
metal flaps on the side like this l__l the band goes under
first then gets folded back over the top and the 2 flap should get pinched down hard so the band doesnt move
really there isnt much to that at all its a 20 minutes job for me and im no pro at this. lol sorry about my non sence drawing hope that helps a little bit
