i just bought a trx450 for my girlfriend on saturday and i am very happy with it the dealer included an hrc kit with the deal but i have to install it, i wanted to order a shop manual for it but it will take a week to get here and i want to install it before the weekend,, can anyone tell me how to or were to find instructions on how to install the hrc cam????????? thanks in advance

 

I would just let them do it, if you do it, it automatically voids the warranty.

 

I would also let the dealer do it. What did you pay for the HRC kit? Some say $400 installed.

 

It does not void your warranty if you do it yourself.

thanks, roughrider01 i would rather do it myself, i wouldnt trust the dealer to even put air in my tires with my luck they would probably put every thing on exept for the cam and call it good. besides i dont want to wait 2 weeks to get the bike back.

I witnessed a TRX450r with that HRC kit & it was very fast & a must have for the 450r!!!

 

if you read the manual it will expain that no race parts are covered under any circumstances.ask your dealer.

 

From what ive heard, yes it does. I think it makes sense.
