I have a 1981 honda 250r sometimes it won't hardly idle down and will start running full throttle top end redone ran pressure test holds the floats have been fixed one was taking in gas fixed hole. I am going to get new floats and rebuild carburetors do you think it is starving for fuel it is also hard to start when it's cold if I shoot gas down cyclinder it will start easy once it's warm it seems to start better.

 

Did you try adjusting the carb? (i.e,, air screw, idle, jets) Rebuilding the carb is useless if its just worn out.
