one of my friends friends swears that the 400ex he just bought is a 490. the biggest bore i have ever heard of is the thumper 470, or duncan i think. have any of u ever heard of such a bore? it seems like it would always be broken if so. thats a large bore i think. please respond

i've seen 500 numbers on ex's in dirt wheels, never heard of a 490 ask him how the cooling is?

 

well, i rode this thing today. a 490 he says. i also right before that rode a stock z400. it sure had some power, but i feel a raptor would have torn it apart. we didnt race, but my raptor feels like its a lot stronger. one thing tho, it flies top end. 4th gear is ridiculously long. we will drag race soon and i will tell u guys the out come

 

i have another question, one a video i saw at yfz central, there was a 416ex vs a stock yfz. it was almost dead even, how could this be if a 490 ex couldnt even beat a raptor?

 

did u watch both drag vids cuz on one of them the yfz got a bad start and still nearly caught him on the other it started good and smoked it

 

yea i saw the one where the yfz went like completely off the road and almost tied, and the other it beats the ex by just a few lengths, i would have thought that if a 490 ex cant beat a raptor, than a 416ex would get murdered by a yfz
