Motox26, I believe his story because the KX250 isn't exactly the fastest 2-stroke dirtbike. In fact if it was a newer bike they are at the bottom of the power scale when compared to the CR, YZ, and even the RM.

A MILLION dollars? I don't think so....
dirtwheels interview with Doug Gust page 92--

"DW- how much did you finally settle for?"

"DG- I dont want to say"

"DW-Why not? Tim farr has been public about his million dollar deal. Besides, everyone knows how much baseball players and movie stars make; whats the deal?"

Honda305, you stated that "Farr has already won 3 races" Where can I go to see the stats of the MX races Farr has raced in. I thought the YFZ and Gust where whipping his A$$ and the TRX didn't stand a chance. Any info?

I don't care if it is the slowest 250 dirtbike, It is a 2 stroke lightweight dirtbike. Im not going to go into detail why, because this is commen sence.

BTW, my friends 03 KX250 beats my other buddies 02 YZ250. (both stock)

I wouldnt say Farr will not jump ship; Ricky Carmichael did. He is going to Team Suzuki in November. Now that is motocross, but the fact is that if another team comes up offering more money and stuff to you, anyone would take the offer and race for another brand.

“I felt very comfortable this weekend,” said Farr following the race. “My Honda was wicked fast and smooth."
"The bike is really starting to come together."

quote..... "Joe Byrd switched brands and showed up on a new Honda 450R. It looks like the red quad suited him better. "

It seems like the YFZ out numbers the Honda atleast 15-1 at the gate. It seems like the Yamaha would win by simple numbers. I wonder what will happen as more Honda's get on the track?

"Tim Farr was obviously the quickest guy on the track but just didn't have enough time left to win the moto."

These are just a few quotes I found searching the net. What is going to happen if Farr or another Honda starts to beat the YFZ..... I can already here it... "Honda is just buying wins"

BTW, it looks like Gust has his stroked 450cc suzuki doing pretty well and no, it is not a 400cc suzuki.
