I am having trouble finding a good service manual for a '91 250x. Where could a po' boy pick one of those up? (None of the local dealers were any help, but then they weren't any help when I was trying to buy a new quad for the wife, either.)

You might want to try www.helminc.com. I purchased one for my Rancher from them. Try it & see if they have one for that quad.
