Hi:

I picked up new Rubicon on Monday (3 days ago). I am going through the break in period and keeping it real easy on the bike. Last night i was out with a few freinds and had the same tranny problem you had. I was in a about a foot of water in D2. Whenever I tried to speed up the bike would pop out of gear. when I let off the gas it went back in gear by itself. Give it more gas and boom back ouot of gear. i am very concerned about this. What was the end result of your problems??? Mine is goig back today.

 

Holly Crap ! I can't believe this ! Tell the dealer to Ram it ! Get a Suzuki or something, this is a joke. Make sure you call Honda directly. Please keep me posted.

It seems a little ridicualous to me as well. Any word on yours yet? Is Honda fixing it? Is there a recall.

it wasn't a good night for Honda's. My buddy who bought one with me had to be towsed out as he dunked the front end oin the water and the bike died.

Starting to think my undiable belief in Honda in changing.

 

I have not heard of a recall yet. I copied your post and emailed it to the manager at the Dealer where I bought mine. I am not letting this go...I'm all over them, including Honda.
