sorry to burst your bubble but a 400ex has 2.6 gallon including the reserve. My 400ex I can ride all day if I have energy to push it like im racing it all day. Usually after about 5 hours of pushing my wheeler to the limit....i start slowing down the pace a little bit. But I don't usually have to fill up that tiny tank in a 7-10 hour riding day. When I put it on the trailer....she's pretty dry though.

I've never seen a 5.3 gallon tank for a 400ex....not calling him a liar or anything. But oh well. Biggest I've seen for a 400ex is 4.3
