ridzhard,
No problem here. I didn't have to go digging around, I just read where you said NEVER, and remembered your comment stuck out in the post that I listed. I normally wouldn't have brought it up, but in every post that I've saw you reply to in conection with the Raptor, you've been very critical of the Raptor and the person who wants one. If you've changed your viewpoint and now feel that being happy with what we each personally have, them I'm all in favor of it, and give you a high five!
Also, I know you were just being sarcastic about your machine, but I'll go on record as saying that it is a great machine. I had a banshee and loved it, rode a 400ex and really liked it, sat on a DS650 and really respected it. They are all great rides, we just have to figure out what will hopefully fit with our style of riding and terrain.
be safe, have fun

That is one thing I don't like about this form of communication. It is very easy to misunderstand someone's intention. I know I have been critical of the Raptor, but I have pointed out specific items such as maintainance issues or the performance standards as tested by some organizations. I never (that word again) made a blanket statement such as, "Raptor Sucks". Also, I still stand by my view that it is foolish to put money down on something you have never seen. There are enough poeple who disagree with me to fill a forum. Just my opinion.
It is hard not to want a Raptor, it is a great looking machine and once dialed in to owner preference, it will be a great performer(I'm sure). But after viewing the direction that the manufacturers are taking, and speaking with Alan Knowles from CT Racing, I decided that the best machine for me is a 250R which I picked up last week.
I am glad we ironed out our differences, but hey, If we all agreed on everything, what would the point be? Ride on.
