Default Elka shocks. vs. OHLINS shks vs. Axis

I was thinking about the Elka's...The bump my travel up to 10.5" and have a tripple rate spring setup with zero preload, which should help my cornering as well...Do you think even those would not be able to give me a smooth ride?

I always thought the remot rezzys were MORE money? why are they less? Seams like the piggys are smaller and would cost less??

It is between works/TCS and Olins simply for cost.> I want a GOOD shock for under 700...
The remote rez works are at steelers, the piggybacks are only availible on the pro series so you are getting a much better shock and not just the different rez.

When did elka become such a big deal around here? Sure the elites are very good shocks but the majority of people buy the recreational shocks which are far inferior to the big boys. If you want the best then forget elka. Custom Axis, PEP, ohlins and king make the best around. Everything else is made for amateurs.
