please help fast!!!
i just changed my clutch on my 87 250x, and when i had it all put together i realized that the reverse pull on the clutch lever, but at the side that goes in the clutch cover, that the spring to pull it back after engaging reverse was not in the correct place, and was not pulling it back, so i just ignored it. well, when i went and started it up, and let off the clutch in nuetral, there was a slight grinding of ticking sound coming from the clutch. i was wondering wether the spring could be hitting anything, but it only does it when the clutch is let out, or could it just have something to do with the new clutch.... i am wondering, if u don't fully tighten the bolts for the clutch springs, if that will cause a slight rub on anything? if anyone knows how to help me, please help asap!! thanks for ur time!
