I was not trying to say the transmission was bad.
However there are DADS that jsut dont care any more "unless" its hurting there truck, bike, atv, or boat or what ever. I was just trying to cover all basis. There are parents that have the attitued of (the sooner they tear it up the sooner i dont have to worry about it)

But when the kid starts tearing up the parents car, truck, atv etc... the parent all of a sudden snaps out of the fog. Thats all I was saying.

I can bet you money if 5 kids were on my atv "rubicon" while I was gone, id come home wondering what they may have tore up!

Was not trying to say nothing bad about a Honda. im very aware that is against all laws on this forum.

 

I wasn't trying to defend it because it's a Honda. I was just saying 5 kids on an ATV will not hurt any transmission. Besides, I would worry more about my *** than how bad my bikes gonna get f'ed up. Because if they have an accident, everyone one of those kids parents will have a lawsuit on you.

that's pretty dumb, yea i admit we did some stupid **** last summer, alot dumber than 5 people on a quad, we fit 6 people on an old beat up 400ex and went around the trails doing about 15 mph because it would want to tip around every turn (we flipped it 3 times doing this) and on top of that, we would do wheelies, man that was fun! someone would fall off every now and then but nobody ever got hurt, we always wore helmets.

 

Send the Photo to the newspaper and name names too. Put it on line. It may save lives. Maybe the guy will get a lot of calls and mail from lawyers wanting his business in the law suits.

 

Look at when things go wrong and people get hurt. Usually when the phrase "I'm Just" is or can be used.

We get hurt and things go wrong we we get to comfortable and complacent. These are dangerous machines when we don't give them the respect they deserve.
Bottom line is some people are just dumb an ignorant also.

 

i haul around several people at a time quite often. never for fun, jsut to get the people from point a to point b. fourwheelers make great people haulers if you keep it safe. i dont know how many times i've seen a bicycle with 3 kids or a truck with about 15 kids in the back. its all the same deal, aslong as your smart about it can be jsut fine. we had a whole bunch of kids get killed a while ago riding in the back of a truck. oh well, you have to clean the gene pool once in a while.
