Default good camshaft

i am looking for a good cam for my 426ex at 11:1 compression. i am looking for a cam mainly for drag racing. currently i run a stage 2 hotcam and i want something better. i would prefer a drop-in cam if possible. i hear good results with tc, sparks, and megacycle but i am not sure what would work best. any suggestions would be great. thanks cal

How is that 426 kit. I have the biggest piston you can put in a 400ex without quenching the head or boring the cylinder. I run the WhiteBrothers all around cam but see I ride in the dunes. So I wanted a more diverse cam I like the cam it help give a nice consistant power I mean the power consistancy and smoothness of my motor is very nice not very typical of a quad motor with internals modified also with the WhiteBrothers cam you don't get that clicking noise of the hotcams I heard that hotcams has some kind of strange clicking noise. hope this is helpful but I would do what SandMan430 said and call the motorbuilder.

actually, the 426 is getting built right now. i sent the cylinder off to have a new sleeve put in even though a 426 would fit in the stock sleeve. i am putting in a ross 426 at 11:1 with a ross sleeve. however, i had in a ross 10.8:1 406. i ran this with the stage 2 hotcam. it ran pretty good. i think my x-6 pipe is too much for the bike. my buddy has the x-4 and it opened his bike up much more than my x-6 did on mine. i am in the process of having my x-6 coated and i am having them put a thicker coat on the inside of the headers to increase backpressure and hopefully i will have more power. i don't have any ticking with the stage 2. my buddy has a stage 1 and the ticking is more pronounced with that cam. its not that bad. i think most people run too loose valve settings. tighten them up and it will get quieter. i can let you know how it runs when i get it together.
