Thanks

No a single difference between 2004 and 2005 that I can see.

Get an HMF pipe. It's the best thing I've done. If you do it with a jet kit, even better. It's like un-hooking a trailer off the back!

ncdncd $ Jokerguy,

Did your HMF ehaust make that big of a difference? I have been looking into buying a pipe for mine and wondered what the HMF was like. Which model of HMF pipe did you buy ?

The HMF pipe made a huge difference on the power, smoothness of acceleration, and a great sound to boot. My wife rode my bike on our last outting and said she definitely wanted one on here bike. Had 2 other guys ride my bike at the trails that had ATs and they were sold too.

Here is the one I got

Here is where I got it - you'll have to call them as it isn't listed on their site.

I really don't know anything about it - don't think I could be happier that I am with the one I got but mabye someone else has some experience with it.

That's good to see that the hmf and dynojet made a big diffrence on the this bike. I've had mine since january and when I put 25" Mud Bugs and Maxxis 8 spoke rims on it really slowed me down. I could hardly spin them in the mud. But I really like this rancher on trails and its overall size and look. I could not decide if I should try the dyno and pipe or trade in already. Now that I've seen this post maybe I will get the HMF and Dyno now.

Just FYI - I did not put a Dyno kit on mine or rejet at all - just put the pipe on. HMF had no suggestions for rejetting other to say they ran it at a 142 main jet - which is stock on the AT,
