Anybody used these? Just got a set of them but have not mounted them up yet. How do they hold up?

Had them for about 2 years now. Not one flat or puncture as of yet. A very good all around tire

Thats good to hear. I got a good deal on 4 new ones, I need to get my rear in gear and slap them on. Do you change your own tires? I just picked up a Tyre Iron spoon set, but I wonder how hard it's gonna be getting off the OEM tires and mounting the new ones. Do I need to take them to a shop, or you think I'll be alright? I've never done it before, so any advice or tips would be great.

The first time I mounted them on my stock rims, it was a PINA!!! I even used a tire changing machine at school. Those 6ply sidewall are tough!!! But, when I put them on my ITP rims, I used a tire machine to hold the rim and uses a couple of tire spoons and pry bars to get the tire off. Then my friend (who works at a tractor repair shop) put the new tires on with a tire spoon and some skills. I don't know HOW he did it, but it worked!!! If you were to take it to a tire shop, they usually charge around $5 each to change the tire. Might be better off going that route

Thanks for the advice....I think I'll play around with them to see if I can do it. You're right about those sidewalls, too....I better eat my Wheaties! Maybe I can use Dawn soap to lube up the bead a little. Also, what If I leave the tires in the sun for a while to heat them up, think it'll loosen them up some?

Good idea. Lubing up the bead with soap with help. Getting the rubber soft and plyable will help a lot too. Just be very careful not to damage the rim. I actually bent my old rim geting one tire off. I also put tape around the bead of the ITP rim so as to not scratch the aluminum.

Ahhhhh..... I forgot about taping the rim, thanks for the re-fresher! I hope I don't get too carried away and damage the OEM wheels, but If so, I guess I 've got a good excuse to upgrade!

The tires do look great, much beefier than the OEM bridgestone dirthooks. Too bad Honda didn't put the newest version of the bigger dirthooks on instead.
