My buddie has a 2004 honda rancher 4x4 esp model, he parked it, and it got mice in it, and a 2 nests in the air box, he cleaned it out , and now it has absolutely no power at all, in any gear, any suggestions? i am going to try to clean the carb and go from there. any thing to look for?

as long as they didn't get into the carb and/or engine, i dont think they caused the problem.
either way, clean the carb and flush the oil. i know my 03 didn't like to sit for more than a month. i just dont see how they could have caused the problem, i mean, they couldn't have gotten through the carb, so theres no way stuart little is stuck in the cylinder. check the exhaust, maybe they nested in there. hmmm i dunno...
mice... that'll make a good story!

 

yea story alright, thats what he said, so looks like i got another projet on my hands , the exhaust looks like it can get clogged easy, it was a spark arrested mouse.
