Has anyone installed a big bore kit on a rancher?
Im going to put an HMF pipe, k&n filter, outerwear, jet kit, 26" tires?
any suggestions on the stuff i want or complaints please drop a few lines to help me out
my quad is an 04 rancher 350 4x4 ES

 

The rancher at 400 is just a 329cc rancher engine bored out about 70cc so it cant be all bad.

I had 26" mudlites on itp c series wheels on a stock 01 Rancher FE and it was great.

If you get in the nasty wet stuff you may want to consider a uni foam filter instead. The k&n flows better, but the foam is usually better in adverse conditions.

 

If it is an 04 and stil on warranty, don't touch the engine, you will void the warranty.

Have you considered trading for a Foreman? Considering all you intend to do, the trade may not be any more expensive than your upgrade.
