I went riding last weekend with a guy who owns a Sportsman 500. He had no trouble staying up right. My Rancher 4x4 was constantly wanting to ride on two wheels. He would have to sit on my racks so I could go down the same inclines that gave him no problem. Any suggestions? I am considering wider tires and or spacers to set my tires farther apart. What do you guys think?

Are you talking stability side to side or front to back. One thing to remember is the SP500 has a dry weight of over 600 pounds. This may make it more stable...dont know. I rolled mine going down a hill. Just be careful because broken ribs suck.

The Sp500 with the IRS & it weighs 100 more make it more stable side to side. I have not noticed it being unstable front to rear.
