Im sure someone will offer it but why? If you want electric start then look at the YZF450. Me, I like to know I dont have all that extra crap to go wrong. Also one of the problems with a aftermarket electric start is that your starter could go out in 4 years but unfortunatly the company went out of buisness 6 months prior so you cant get a replacement.

What?? I didnt mean ANY attitude when I stated that and did not mean to come off as a ***. What I meant was the 450R and YZF are so close in comparison that if you really want electric start to look at the YZF as it may fit him/her better. Unlike a lot of people on this site I am not brand specific and it just so happened I got a decent deal and like the 450R more than the YZF hence why I now own one. Sorry if I cam off as a ***.

There will no doubt be a CRF450X dirt bike this fall. You might be able to adapt a starter from that. Where you going to put that heavy battery?

 

I highly doubt there will be a crf450x dirtbike. Unless you have heard facts otherwise from Honda.

 

wouldnt be worth it. stick with the kick. (that rhymes!) and even if there is a e-starter i would put the bat in the front to keep the beast down.

 

the air box is a perfect spot . a lot of places make relocation kits with aluminum box's . if they're going to make a crf450x , it sure would be sweet .
