Not sure about the moto 7, but I ordered a moto 6J, had it for about a week, and returned it to the dealership. It was terrible, there's no ear cutouts in it so your ears get totally smashed against the inside walls of the helmet. It took a few weeks for my ears to stop hurting, and I had only wore it for 2-3 hours total.

Bell used to be the big kid on the block. Always not just DOT approved but Snell also. They still make nice stuff, but I always end up buying some other brand.

Generally speaking, I have been very disappointed with Bell's off road helmets. I ordered a Moto-6 several months ago as an 'upgrade' to my HJC CL-X1. It was terrible. The foam was uncomfortable and the whole thing just seemed cheaply manufactured. I only tried it on once and immediately put it back in the box and shipped it back.

On a better note, I just got one of the new HJC AC-X1's and it is an outstanding helmet. For ~$225, it kicks anything else I have tried. I highly recommend them!

Regards,

Dennis

I also have this helmet and I love it. To me looks and fit are awesome. Equal to the Moto-6, or 7. I paid 119 for mine and love it. Even I was loaded there is no reason I would by the Moto 6 or 7. Dave

I bought a brand new Shoei FX-3 for $85.00 (retailed for $279 back in '98 when it was discontinued, replaced by the FX-4)on e-bay last week, I'll let you know what I think of it when it is delivered.

The place that put it up for bid is a motorcycle dealership that had 5 or 6 left in stock. If anyone is interested email me and I will give you the name & phone#.
