not a quad

Default not a quad

ok we have a 270 micro with a ESR 270 motor just got it rebuilt put it on fired it up and its blowing water out the over flow and the pipe i know its not a quad but the motors are the same any one have a clue why its doing it ????? thanks JPH

I would guess that you have a bad head gasket [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

Check the head gasket/o-rings. That's where your problem should be.

well see that the thing they where bad so we got new ones and it stell did it

By saying you've got "new ones," I assume you are talking about o-rings. That means you have a CR engine. Big difference between it and the ATC/TRX engine. Anyways, if it is still leaking with new o-rings, check the receiver grooves in the head and cylinder and make sure there are no gouges in them. Also, check to make sure that the head is absolutely flat. If it warped, it will not seal correctly when torqued down and cause a leak.

Did the sleeve drop in the cylinder. If you can catch your finger nail on it, it dropped. Check that, you may have to get the cylinder re-decked.
