holeshots or turf tamers

i've run the holeshot mx's for awhile now but has anybody run both. which one hooks up better.

I have holeshot mx's on my 250r.I have ridin a 250r with groved turf tamers and I liked the holeshots better.They hook up better and wear a little better to.They wear quickly but turf tamers wear extremely quickly.

if i were you i would get gbc r/a sherrders or razr tires!

Yea, unless your willing to pay for new tires and installation much more often because of wear I'd get Razrs
If you dont mind the money and installation I'd suggest Holeshots.
i rode my razrs one time and was amazed by the improvement especially on the gravel roads here.

I have had turf tamers (which i love). About three days ago i got holeshot mx i really dislike the holeshots because they don't grip well at all in corners. But in a straightaway the holeshots do pretty good. I guess the name explains what it's good for. But one thing is for sure when the holeshots wear out turftamers are goin back on my beadlocks...if you get turftamers i would recommend you grooving them... so they clean ou better

I have turf tamers on my 250X and I hate them I can't get any grip in the mud or snow.I would get wollybuggers if I could afford it.

i have the 6ply razr's and love them ! all the hole shots do is go flat! i don't like the turf tamers i think they are over rated! you can also try the bandits they are great to

I take it your racing. I'd def. stay with the holeshots. Once you groove them, you'll notice a big difference. If your just talking about trail riding and stuff, the Razors are hard to beat. They hook up great, and they'll last alot longer.
