Help guys, trying to decide on new tires and wanting to go 1 size bigger in the front and rear. Will this combination work for the front and can I increase the rear to a 25-10-11? Thanks for the help.

 

in theroy yes it would work but you are gonna have to watch out for tire clearence when turning and not to mention how it will look

 

It should work, going up one inch you shouldn't rub your fender. One inch wider is not a problem, either.

 

How much wider can I go on the stock rim, and how much wider is too wide?

 

width depends on the tire in question and the manufacturers ruler.....some are wider than others, taller than others, and the all display the same tire size
eg it had 23-8-11 otshus on the front, then put 23-8-11 maxxis surtraks on the front....the surtraks were a wider tire

plus one inch in width is ok......rubbing the inside spats (under the mud guards can occurr), but no major hassle to fix.....just remember you have to have the power to turn the wheels as well.....bigger, doesn't all ways mean better

dont worry about it ....i put 25-10-11 mudrunners on my 300 and it works just fine.
