Default insurance on quads

i was thinking of putting full coverage insurance on my 450R when i first got it but it was about $400 a year so i said screw it. but lately there have been a bunch of things being stolen like quads/ race cars/ trucks/ trailers, ect so im thinking it might be smart to get full coverage insurance. what kind of insurance do you guys have and what company and how much does it cost? whats the best place to get insurance? i have "american family on my truck.

i live in the country and i do keep my quad locked up in the basement but i know those thiefs can break into about anything, i need ideas on ways to keep my quad safe

any help will be greatly appreciated

Hummmm the figures you guys are posting for insurance costs seem HIGH. I own a 2004 Polaris Sportsman 700 and live in the foothills above Sacramento, CA. I insure my ATV through Liberty Mutual as with my vehicles, home owner's and life insurance policies. My yearly renewal for the ATV just came in the mail two days ago and for the entire year it is $96. Last year I think it was $90. This includes coverage for both damage and theft with a $200 deductible. Thought it was a sweet deal when I initially got the policy and now that I am hearing what others are paying it definitely well priced.

I am with Allstate. Comprehensive is around $100 per year, and Liability about $30. I only have comp on my bigger, more expensive bikes. but I have liability on everything.
